The Ubuntu Girls AAU Team captured their second major tournament title of the young summer, by winning the prestigious Crossover Hoops “Battle of the Beltway” tournament on June 25th. This tournament was also national championship qualifier. Team Ubuntu continues to show tremendous potential towards establishing themselves as a perennial national championship contender and powerhouse. The Team Ubuntu Scholar-Athletes continue to excel on the court, in the community and in the classroom. This young organization (Ubuntu Basketball Academy) continues to grow and thrive by leaps and bounds!
